This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to assist a young man in organising his emails, social connections, and calendar regarding his social, work and home life.
The role responsibilities include:
- Assist with emails, organising calendars and social communications
- Organising household duties
- Assist with preparing for work
You will spend time learning about the job until you develop a well-rounded understanding of the role. There will be ongoing support and mentoring in this role. You do not need any experience working with a person with disability, but you will need a strong values base of inclusion.
Location: North Canberra, Australia
Employer: Family supporting their son using NDIS funding
Hours: 6 - 10 hours per week (negotiable)
Salary: $35 - $50 per hour (depending on experience and knowledge)
Other requirements:
- Available to work flexible hours during weekdays
- Photo ID
- A current National Police Check, WWVP card or the ability to apply for each
- Drivers license and own vehicle that is comprehensively insured
- Non-smoker
