Project Manager Solar PV
Ingeteam Australia already has over 3GW of PV & BESS inverters and power stations deployed in Australia with a large and rapidly growing pipeline of projects. To date, we have delivered 25 GW of solar PV power with our solar inverters and more than 57 GW of Indar converters and generators globally to the wind and solar industry.
Purpose of the role
This role would report to Projects Director. The project manager is responsible for engineering, construction & commissioning support of INGETEAM Inverters/Power Electronics installations on Large-scale (MW) Solar Farms, residential and commercial Instalations across Australia.
Key responsibilities of this role:
- Providing technical support to external clients and internal INGETEAM stakeholders at pre-sales and after-sales stages of the projects, contributing to the commercialsuccess and growth of Australian business.
- Working closely with Ingeteam´s Commercial, I D and Service departments to drive growth and profitability in Ingeteam´s product segments.
- Receiving and apply all the technical documents and knowledge coming from the head office in Spain so it is applied accurately on the products installed in the Australian market.
- Understanding all applicable local standards and take actions to comply with them.
- Developing comprehensive technical courses oriented to the Distributors, Installers network of Ingeteam in Australia.
- Making presentations to clients on Ingeteam´s products via webinar, or in person at Ingeteam or client’s facilities.
- Interfacing with customers or customer representatives; supporting and responding to issues occurred in field related with Ingeteam inverters via phone, email or in person.
- Providing field support or to determine the type and level of service needed to solve the problem
- Cooperating with Ingeteam service or subcontractor to address and resolve incidents immediately
- Keeping track and control of incidents occurred from origin to final
- Cooperating closely with commercial to develop and maintain business accounts. Educate new, existing and potential clients and customers on Ingeteam products, programs, service and benefits.
Employees in this category will usually, but not necessarily have:
- An engineering degree or advanced diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in design, selection, installation and inspection of power electronics/converter systems.
- Experience in full project life-cycle ranging from design to commissioning
- Excellent communication skills (English), both written and verbal with strong all-round ability to engage with customers and stakeholders
- Proven ability to analyse and resolve technical matters.
- High multi-tasking and prioritisation skills.
- Commercial aptitude and accustomed to achieving budgets.
- Excellent team working skills.
- A pro-active & flexible approach, willing to occasionally engage with Spain outside of “normal hours”.
- Knowledge of large scale solar farm projects.
- Recognised competencies in design, selection, installation and inspection of equipment intended for the renewable power generation & distribution industry. Ideally solar farm inverters.
- Customer oriented approach, with an ability to manage a broad range of customer issues
Proposed Range salary:
$80.000-$100.000
