Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and uphold the high standards of our authentic French bistro. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with a deep understanding of French cuisine and culture, coupled with exceptional managerial skills. From managing day-to-day operations to ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, the Restaurant Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining the bistro’s reputation as a premier dining destination.
Responsibilities:
- · Oversee all aspects of daily restaurant operations, including but not limited to staffing, inventory management, and financial performance.
- · Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of the front of the house, and support staff to deliver outstanding service and uphold the bistro's standards of excellence.
- · Develop and implement strategies to optimise guest satisfaction, increase revenue, and maximise profitability.
- · Maintain a strong presence on the floor, interacting with guests to ensure a memorable dining experience and promptly addressing any concerns or feedback.
- · Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- · Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with local regulations and industry best practices.
- · Collaborate with the culinary team to curate seasonal menus and ensure consistency in food quality and presentation.
- · Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, ordering, and reporting.

- · Proven experience in restaurant management, preferably in a high-end or fine dining establishment.
- · In-depth knowledge of French cuisine, wine, and hospitality traditions.
- · Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- · Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- · Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences.
- · Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- · Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- · Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- · Diploma’s degree or equivalent experience in hospitality management or a related field.
Remuneration:
$75,000 - $85,000 and superannuation
