Australian Army Field Ambulance stretcher. All the woodwork is painted dark army green as used by the ADF from the Korean War through the Vietnam War period. It is in very good (usable if you wanted) condition. Well marked on the woodwork in various places (please see photos). The most salient markings being the manufacturer ‘ J. Antique wire fire guard has belonged to my family all my life. I’m not sure how old it is but it would not surprise me that it is from around the time of the First World War. Good overall condition. It has been in my garage for the past 30 years. Time to find a new appreciative home. 22 inches (56cm) high (From the ground) x 25 inches (63.5cm) wide. A very good condition Vietnam War Australian Army 7.62 solid wooden ammunition case/crate/box. This once held the ammunition in cotton bandoliers. WW1 Wooden .303 Ammunition crate. I have always understood that it is from WW1 but there is no date on it other than partially on the later yellow reissue stamps. This is a Victorian Ash Wednesday fires, 16th February 1983 survivor. The crate was stored for many decades with a 1916 General Service wagon (burnt to the ground) in a farm shed in Victoria’s Western District.
